The scene opens to a small office with the the DWF logo in the background. Bob Fairchild, in a polo shirt and khakis, sits in an recliner just in front of the logo.
HELLO everybody and welcome, my name is Bob Fairchild and you're on the set of the Fair Catch. The Fair Catch is a sit down interview with a guest, which we will make a regular part of the DWF Newsline between our Televised shows. Today, the Fair Catch is with the Boss, the 19 year old Jana Rikar. Miss Rikar, it's a privilege to have you with us today.
Jana sits in another recliner and smiles politely.
It's good to be here, Bob. Congratulations on your promotion to being the Voice of the DWF.
Yes, those years of being in production were well worth the wait, and Thank you for the promotion. Jana, a few questions have been raised about why you're rebuilding the fed, a fed that your family worked for and that you yourself were a part of many, many years. The biggest question to most is... why?
Well, I'm just being Defiant in my own little way. My family did very well for themselves here and in the business. As part of my 18th birthday, a trust opened that my late father had set aside. With that, I started to put together the pieces and now, fast forward to March 17th, the DWF shines again at Shamrock Showdown and will become Defiant once more.
So far, we've got 5 entries into the Defiant Title Qualifiers. With #6 on the horizon for the 22nd, do you expect to see more combatants to join in between now and the 8th slot being filled on the 25th at Midnight?
I expect to see quite a few to take their places in the 7th and 8th slots. But if not, we have contingency plans in place. As for Shamrock Showdown, we will have everyone who signs up for the DWF, will be on the show, if it's 2 others, 6 others, or if we fill the 24 person capacity, then we'll have all 24 members of the roster on the show. And yes, there will be something to join for, even if they're not part of the 8.
Have you been satisfied with the 5 signees so far? I mean, did you have any idea that we would have the quality of talent?
No, and quite honestly, that's the fun part of the whole process. We have 4 of 5 former champions in different feds, 1 rookie looking to shine, 2 returning back from injury, and one man who's holding gold in multiple federations as we speak, yet he wants one more. If we can get talent like that and we've been open for 3 days... imagine how things will go over the next 3 weeks or 3 months.
We have Shamrock Showdown on March 17th with the Savannah River Street Fight. It's been a staple in Savannah and in the DWF like green beer and four leaf clovers. Is that why we're starting out in Savannah?
Tradition means a lot to me, almost as much as family. The roster that I grew up with, was like my family and though I never met President Parker, I remember what many of the others said about him and about his vision of making sure Savannah always had Shamrock Showdown. So, we're keeping with a tradition that started 25 years ago and we want to continue for another 25 years.
TNT, formerly Tuesday Night Titans, will be returning to showcase the DWF Talent on a bi-weekly basis on Wednesday as we make our way between the Pay Per Views. Will this be a streaming service or will this be on-air?
We're working as we speak to secure broadcast rights for TNT. We have the iPPV service set for Shamrock Showdown. We will stream TNT on the DWF Site but we would much rather have an over the air or streaming service to help supplement costs with advertising revenue. We're set to go from now until Resurrection on Memorial Day but after that, it will depend on ticket revenue, merchandising and any revenue brought in from the shows.
Lastly today, to all of the competitors who may be on the fence about being a part of the DWF, what would you like to say to them?

Jana looks at the camera with a sincere and honest approach.
Don't be afraid to take a chance. You honestly have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Money wise, take one match, if you don't like it, you still go home with more than you came in with. If you're new and looking for your first matches, cut your teeth here. If you're a veteran and want that one last run, bring your A game here. If you're wandering, let us be your home. If you're unsure of yourself after a mental or physical break, let us help get your groove back. The DWF isn't just about being Defiant, it's about YOU being Defiant. If you’re a student, a trainer, or just someone who thinks they can make it in this business, the doors are open and we're here for you. I hope to hear from you soon.
Fairchild nods as Jana finishes and looks over at the camera.
Well said, Boss, well said indeed. #6 in the Defiant Title Qualifiers is coming up. The 1st Entry after Midnight tonight will be #6 and will get to choose their opponent. #7 & #8 will be coming up by the end of the week and there are still more potential matches upcoming for Shamrock Showdown. But for now, the waiting game continues. Who will be #6 and who will the Boss sign? We will know very soon. For Jana Rikar, I'm Bob Fairchild, this has been the Fair Catch. We'll see you next time!
The end shot shows Jana and Bob looking at the camera then fading to black. [/font]
