Weekend UPDATE!: Two Plus Two Equals Four

Two men, one younger in a long sleeve dress shirt and slacks, and one older with blue hair, t-shirt and jeans, stand among crates and boxes in the backstage area of the Savannah Civic Center. A DWF Logo is places up against the wall behind them, but in plain sight.

Welcome to the Weekend Update with the Two Man Powertrip, I'm Jimmy Floyd and with me as always, the man, the myth, the legend, Senior Referee Wonderman Waldo.

Waldo touches his finger to his forehead then does some silly motion as Jimmy looks on.

Waldo does the same motion again. Jimmy just simply looks at Waldo then back to the camera.

Enough of the games, let's get to the Two in Two with the TMP.

The Third Member of the DWF has been signed and she is the Phoenix Firebird. Summer, the owner of the Wild Ones Wrestling Academy, is making her return back to the ring from a neck injury back in 2015. She's had spot matches with BFW, Pure Amusement and Victory since the injury and looks to make a return to her Championship form here in the DWF.

So the calendar may say Winter, but we're fast forwarding as Savannah gets some Summer on St. Patrick's Day.

Evidently, the Lighting Guy has no taste for punny stuff... and speaking of No Punny Stuff.

This is no pun, no sun or no fun as the Burning Heart is Numero Quatro in the Qualifying matches for the Defiant Title. James Edwards, former Fight One Multiple Champion, and current Seattle Pro and Lions Road Champion, looks to add more gold to his waist on St Patricks Day in Savannah. if he can get into the Main Event with a win earlier in the night.

So James Edwards wants to hold three titles in three feds at one time? Not sure if anything gets more Defiant than that.

So anyway, we have the first four in the qualifiers. and now the fun begins.

Exactly, the next contender is scheduled to be the person closest to signing at Noon on Monday, without going past noon.

But if someone signs up Sunday at 4pm... then someone signs up at Sunday at 930.. the 930 will get the slot, right?

Yeah, but that doesn't mean the 4pm'er is SOL. There's talk of at least 2 more matches going on at Shamrock Showdown.

And that knowing the DWF, ANYTHING is possible when it comes to those matches.

So now that we have 4, let's see what the brackets look like.

I'd rather be #6, that way I can choose who I will go against in the Qualifiers.
