The scene opens up as Coral Rose is seen shopping. She was on Rodeo Drive, looking in stores. She was already spending quite a bit of money, but it didn't matter. She soon sits down, as she goes to talk, knowing she still had to do this for her match in Defiant.
"Don't you love how you think you are going to be facing someone, just for that person to run off crying like a little bitch after losing, so your match is canceled? Yeah I sure as hell do since I didn't even want to face her as it was. Hey on bright side, I get to face James Raven. Really works out better, as he is the better person for the title shot than the other one I was to face. I am really looking forward to this. I know it will be a pretty great match, one of the better ones I have had. One of understanding, and respect. Ok maybe I have went overboard on respecting Raven."
She lightly laughs, as she looks around.
"I know though Raven will give me the kind of match I been wanting, one that is tough, but yet will be a good one. Something all these others lack. I know I don't mind losing, but it actually will be worth it if I lose to Raven, and he goes on to win the Titan title. Anyone else, you know they go on, they won't win, but I can see Raven doing that. He has the talent to."
She shakes her head.
"Dang it, there I go again. I really need to stop acting like some big time fan. I know it's not like me. This is what people fail to realize, I am more than what people see on twitter. I don't mind showing it, more so when facing somebody like Raven. Everyone is all into our champion, but compared to what Raven has done in his career, she is nothing. Yet I am sure all the others will still put him down, or make comments about how he should only concentrate on one place. People can be in more than one place, and still do amazing things. Hell at least he's not like a certain someone else on the roster. Oh yes lets make comments about one of the new guys, and forget all about the other one. Sad, and pathetic. Considering who said it, yeah, I know already Raven will beat Max the next time. Even if the little bitch things he won't."
She lightly laughs.
"James this week you will win, I already know it, and I am fine with it. I just want you to make sure you go on and beat Jenni or Riddle, whichever have has the title after this week. I know you can do it, so do it. Show everyone why you are going to be the one to beat Carlise. Show them why you are a legend, a GOAT. Show them what I already know about you. Show them you are not one to mess with, and will come out on top each, and every time after you beat me. Do not stop, till you do it. Don't stop till you get to the top, and even then keep going to stay there. I know you can do it. I will be seeing you in the ring though."
She smiles as she gets up, as she heads off to go look at some stuff as scene fades out.

"When you said you were going back to the drawing board, I was hoping that meant the gym."
Jeremy Silver makes his way over to me, a look of concern on my long-time agents face as he looks down at the bottle of whiskey on the ground. I'm sitting in an alley, and I have been for hours. The baking summer sun gave way to chilly Canadian winds and dark skies hours ago, and I was sitting here then too.
"Get up, James. You're ruining your suit."
"I don't give a damn about the suit, Jeremy, I have more suits. I can buy more suits."
"Well, you aren't working wonders for your dignity either, so why don't you try hopping to your feet?"
He extends a hand to help me up, but I ignore it and stare directly at the Crown Royal bottle in front of me. I stay rooted to my spot on the concrete, old newspaper pages and food wrappers blowing past me quietly.
"How drunk are you?"
"I'm not."
"Sure, and I'm the Defiant Champion."
"Nice to finally meet you Aidan; I'm not drunk."
I lift the bottle from the concrete and hold it in the air for Jeremy to inspect. It's still full to the brim with it's amber contents, the seal unbroken as he runs a finger along the perforated edge. He takes a quick look around the alley, looking for any other empty bottles or contraband I may have polished off and hidden before his arrival.
He finds nothing.
There's nothing to find.
"Stand up, look at me, do you swear you're sober right now?"
He grabs me by the shoulder of my suit packet and hoists me to my feet with little protest. He grabs me by the chin and stares deep into my eyes. I focus, and I know that my eyes are as clear as they ever are. He leans in and sniffs for any foreign scents, but doesn't detect any. I smell fucking delicious.
"What are you doing out here then, James? You're not drunk, but you've been sitting out here for hours staring at this bottle, what do you expect me to think?"
"I'm focusing, Jeremy. I'm clearing my head. I've been struggling lately, and it's shown in the ring. The Titan title gauntlet match was bad enough, I felt like I was blatantly screwed there, but watching Max Ironside pin Coral while I lay outside the ring... helpless... I can't stomach it."
"It happens, James. You weren't in the ring, you couldn't stop i-"
"You're missing the point. I should never have been in that position against those two. I don't want to insult the cripple, and I respect Coral too much to want to drag her name through the mud, but let's be brutally honest here... neither of them are James Raven. Neither of them are the 4x Hall of Famer, the Peoples GOAT, you know? I should have smoked them in that triple threat. I should have smoked them if it was a 2 on 1, and if I had both hands tied behind my back. I came up short, I don't want to put on another performance like that."
"So what are you saying?"
"I'm saying we get to work. I'm saying I put away the whiskey for now, and we get in the gym. I can beat Coral, but I can't beat myself sabotaging it all. You need to watch me, you need to work with me like it's the old days. Dangle the carrot. Give me tough love, whatever you have to do... but I'm going to wreck shit in Baltimore."
"What about Coral? Is it going to be tough to run through a friend like that?"
"She's a colleague, she understands what I have to do and I think she wants to see me do it as much as anyone. Coral won't be the problem."
"Where do we go from there?"
"We avenge the Titan title loss to Jenni Drew. We avenge the loss to Max Ironside. We challenge Aidan Carlisle. We do whatever the fuck we want, because in the words of a notorious Irishman, we're not here to take part... we're here to take over."
I toss the whiskey bottle high in the air and watch it smash into dozens of pieces on the concrete. Jeremy and I stare as the liquid runs across the pavement and pools in a corner. He looks back at me.
"Alright champ, let's get to work."
