~~ Earlier Today ~~
Jana Rikar stands on the concourse of the Stroh Center in Bowling Green, looking into the arena as the final touches of the lighting rig are set into place. Rusty Fairchild walks up beside of Jana, two coffee cups in his hands.
Rusty Fairchild: Just as you like it, Boss.
She nods and takes the cup of coffee from his hand.
Rusty Fairchild: I did as you asked, Boss, and your contingency plan is in place. She’ll be here tonight just like you thought. And she brought her gear.
Jana Rikar: Good, With no Drake and probably no Heidi, the roster’s getting thin. At least with Jenn Drew and Damian Miri coming on board, it helps.
Rusty Fairchild: There was a message left to me from Bob, saying Damian is now on the roster full time, not just a one shot, so that’s very good for us.
Jana Rikar: Best news I’ve heard in a while.
Jana looks at Rusty with a smile then hears a crash as the lighting rig falls from the top of the arena. The two looks down as the damaged rig dangling amongst the ropes. Jimmy Floyd and Wonderman Waldo are among the crew at ringside. Jimmy holds up a thumb
Jimmy Floyd: We’re good. Just a broken cable. Have it replaced in a few.
- Hopefully, that’s the last problem you have tonight, Sister Jana.
- Hopefully, that’s the last problem you have tonight, Sister Jana.
Rusty turns and slowly backs away as Davidson Falco stands on the other side of Jana, holding the Good Book in his right hand.
Davidson Falco: Terrible that all of these problems are happening.
Jana Rikar: They weren’t until you showed up.
Davidson Falco: Are you saying I’m cursed?
Jana Rikar: You are the leader of the Cult.
Davidson Falco: WERE. The Cult is no more.
Jana Rikar: The Cult is always around when you’re here.
Davidson Falco: Just make sure no problems happen tonight when Comet falls to the Heaven’s Gate. Enjoy your coffee. Two creams and a sugar, just the way YOU like it, Sister Jana.
Falco walks off as Jana looks at the cup of coffee then back at Falco. She drops the coffee into the trash can beside of her and looks out at the damaged rig at the ringside area. The camera fades in with the same view of a raucous crowd as ‘El Phantasmo and the Chicken Run Blast-o-Rama' plays. The arena is at near capacity as fans hold signs in the crowd. Stephi Zucconi stands in the ring, hyping the crowd. She blows a kiss towards the camera as it pans down then over to a two-shot with Bob Fairchild and Kamryn Tennebaum sitting at ringside. Kamryn sits on Bob’s lap as the crowd cheers.
Bob Fairchild: HELLO EVERYBODY and Welcome to TNT. We are LIVE in the Stroh Center on the campus of Bowling Green University. I’m Bob Fairchild….
Kamryn leans over and kisses Bob on the cheek.
Kamryn: And you know who I am and if you don’t, you will soon enough.
Bob looks over at Kamryn with a raised eyebrow. "Mz Hyde" by Halestorm begins to play as the arena goes dark and a red custom light turns on.
Bob Fairchild: Saved by Lzzy Hale! Let’s go to Stephi for tonight’s first match!
Stephi Zucconi: Welcome to TNT! This is a Three way Dance scheduled for one fall. First, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 123 pounds, ‘The Mistress of Seduction and Destruction’ Coral Rose!
Stephi Zucconi: Welcome to TNT! This is a Three way Dance scheduled for one fall. First, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 123 pounds, ‘The Mistress of Seduction and Destruction’ Coral Rose!
Coral comes from the back. She comes to the stage where it meets the ramp and throws her head back as she holds her arms up high almost like she's doing a 'Y'. Coral snaps her head down and starts down the ramp.
Kamryn: Last week, Coral tried to play cute with my man Flexy Baby but that just got that ass beat instead.
Bob Fairchild: Flexy baby?
Kamryn: Not as much as I used to be but He didn’t mind.
Bob Fairchild: God it’s already starting.
Bob Fairchild: Flexy baby?
Kamryn: Not as much as I used to be but He didn’t mind.
Bob Fairchild: God it’s already starting.
Coral rolls under the ropes and jumps to her feet, this time throwing an 'X' over her head via her arms before heading to her corner as Referee Tabor Bolthausen checks her gear. The lights in the arena begin to flash strobe style as "All of the Lights" by Kanye West begins to play through the arena.
Stephi Zucconi: Her opponent, on her way to the ring, from Las Vegas, weighing in at 120 pounds, This is Adalynn Duncan!!!
Most of the crowd are on their feet for Adalynn Duncan, who has now stepped out from the back swaying back and forth to the beat for a few minutes before she smirks towards the ring and takes a quick run straight to the ring, sliding into the ring.
Bob Fairchild: Adalynn took a loss last week to Trixie that cost a shot at the Rikar Cup in Norfolk.
Kamryn: And all that did was make her mad. She’s had 2 weeks to dwell and I wouldn’t wanna be near that elbow tonight.
Kamryn: And all that did was make her mad. She’s had 2 weeks to dwell and I wouldn’t wanna be near that elbow tonight.
She gets to her feet, and looks over at Coral, who waves her away. Adalynn then does a quick twerk type dance in the middle of the ring before her music fades and she walks to her corner. They both look towards the big screen as 'Back for More' by Five Finger Death Punch begins to play.
Stephi Zucconi: And her opponent, from Flint, Michigan, weighing in at 155 pounds, This is Max Ironside!!!
The crowd pops as the lights flash wildly enough to cause seizures and Max runs out, high energy in time with the chugging guitar and slapping hands with fans along the ramp. Adalynn glares at Max as Coral slides out of the ring and walks over to the railing.
Kamryn: No love lost between those two.
Max stops and looks up at Adalynn, who dares him to come into the ring. Max starts to climb onto the apron but gets clobbered with a chair from an onrushing Coral Rose. The crowd pops as Coral slams the chair across his back as Tabor calls for the bell. Adalynn runs to the far ropes and slides out of the ring as Coral gloats and stands over the fallen Max.
Bob Fairchild: Coral’s already using the plunder tonight.
Coral slides the chair into the ring then grabs Max by the head, rolling him into the ring. She looks around for the hidden Adalynn then climbs into the ring. Coral pulls Max up and paintbrushes him then goes for an irish whip. Max reverses it and Adalynn swings with a chair as Coral’s back hits the ropes.
Kamryn: OUCH!!!
Coral stumbles forward and hits a DDT by Max. He grimaces on the mat as Adalynn slides in with her chair into the ring. She gets to her feet and taps the chair on the mat. Bob Fairchild: There’s a joke in there but I’m not going to go there.
Kamryn: Spoilsport!
Kamryn: Spoilsport!
Coral shoves Max off of her, and he rolls out to the apron. She gets to a knee then places her shin across the throat of Adaylnn, who gasps for air. Tabor calls for a break as Coral stands up. She looks at Tabor then stands on Adalynn’s chest, looking down at Tabor as the crowd boos. Adalynn grabs the chair lying the mat and smacks Coral in the leg. Coral stumbles off as Adalynn gasps for air, letting go of the chair. Max grabs the chair and slides it out of the ring to a chorus of boos.
Kamryn: I think the fans wanted some blood here.
Adalynn slowly rolls to a knee as Coral limps back over towards her. Max pulls himself up with the ropes on the apron as Coral starts to pick up Adalynn. Max goes for a slingshot tope, but changes and grabs Coral by the back of the head, smashing her head first into the back of Adalynn.
Bob Fairchild: That’s one way of hitting a bulldog.
Max stands up quickly, pulling Adalynn up to her feet. He whips her cross corner into the turnbuckle as Coral staggers to her feet. Max whips her cross corner and into Adalynn. Max charges in and goes for a Stinger splash. Coral avoids it to the left and Adalynn catches Max in the jaw with a forearm smash. Max stumbles backwards and Coral drops him to the mat with a hangman’s neckbreaker. Adalynn hops up onto the second turnbuckle then jumps off dropping an elbow across the chest.
Kamryn: That went from very good to very bad for Max.
Adalynn and Coral both slowly make it to their feet and stand over Max. The two jaw back and forth as each other as Max stumbles up to his feet. They both push Max away from them and into the turnbuckle. Max jumps up on the second turnbuckle and goes for a high cross body block. Coral and Adalynn both turn and catch Max in mid air. They look at each other then hit a tandem fallaway slam, sending Max across the ring.
Bob Fairchild: A little teamwork by Coral and Adalynn there.
Adalynn gets up a shade quicker than Coral and hits a kick to the stomach. She whips Coral into the ropes and goes for a Rolling Elbow. Coral ducks and stops. Adalynn spins back around and Coral connects with a roundhouse back kick, knocking Adalynn through the ropes to the floor.
Kamryn: Adalynn went for it all and took the wrong end of the boot.
Max pulls himself up using the ropes as Coral glares at him. Coral charges at Max but Max pulls down the top rope and Coral tumbles over to the floor out in front of the announce table. Max runs to the far ropes as Adalynn gets to her feet. Coral pulls herself up as Max dives through the ropes, hitting a tope suicida, driving Coral back first against the announce table.
Bob Fairchild: Ironside coming into your living room with the Suicide Dive!!!
The crowd pops as Max gets to his feet as Adalynn turns the corner. Max turns around and Adalynn hits the Rolling Elbow, dropping Max to the floor.

Kamryn: I don’t like the looks of this.
Coral goes for Sliced Bread but Adalynn tosses Coral backwards over her head. Coral lands on her feet but grimaces as Adalynn turns for a rolling elbow. Max flings the chair between the two. Adalynn hits the rolling elbow into the chair, sending the chair into Coral’s shoulder. The crowd pops as Coral hits the mat and Adalynn grabs at her elbow in pain.
Bob Fairchild: No Doubt on Coral!!

After a few moments, she reaches down and grabs a pair of scissors and cuts the strings making it fall to the ground as she lets out a little laugh.
Jenn: It has been far too long since I’ve played with my puppets and made them dance for me. Oh, how I can’t wait to see the joy it brings people when I play with them once more, but do you know what’s even more fun?
Jenn grins as she gets up out of the chair and walks around the room stopping at a puppet with a smile on her face.
Jenn: The world around us is surrounded with puppets who have someone or something that pulls their strings. Yes, everyone is a puppet to something. Hell, I was once a puppet to drugs, but I cut my strings from it and now, I am free. I am free and it feels good. I’m coming to Defiant Wrestling and I will expose everyone for the puppets they are and I will be the one controlling them and making them dance to my liking until it is time to…
Jenn takes the scissors and snips the strings of the puppet she’s standing next to and smiles.
Jenn: Cut the Strings. Defiant Wrestling, I hope you and everyone in that roster is ready for me because when I step into that ring with you, it is only a matter of time of time before you have your Curtain Call and I walk away victorious.
Jenn laughs as she picks the puppet up off the floor and dances with it as the scene fades out.

As he makes his way to the apron he holds up his index finger alerting the crowd to watch what he's about to do as he jumps to the apron and then propels himself over the top rope into a somersault, landing beside of Stephi and Wonderman Waldo. As he reaches his feet mid ring he raises his arms to flex for the crowd again before brushing off his abs and giving a wink to Kamryn as the music dies down .
Bob Fairchild: Big things loom for Jackson Fleck. His first main event here in the DWF and he's going for the Cup.
Kamryn: Big Things Indeed!
Stephi Zucconi: And his opponent…
Kamryn: Big Things Indeed!
Stephi Zucconi: And his opponent…
I won’t give up, no I won’t give in
Till I reach the end
And then I’ll start again
No I won't leave
I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail
Till I reach the end
And then I’ll start again
No I won't leave
I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail
The bouncy music of Shakira's Try Anything plays and out comes Nora Harris, bouncing on the toes of her boots as she waves to the fans.
Stephi Zucconi: From Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 103 pounds, Nora Harris!
Nora waves one more time then she cartwheels onto the ramp, then sprints down to the ring, slides under the bottom rope and pops up to wave at the fans again.
I won’t give up, no I won’t give in
Till I reach the end
And then I’ll start again
No I won't leave
I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail
Till I reach the end
And then I’ll start again
No I won't leave
I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail
Nora stands in the middle of the ring, looks over at Fleck and gives a twerk to the delight of the crowd.
Kamryn: Chicago's second greatest export has been on fire as of late.
Bob Fairchild: Of course we know who is number one, right?
Kamryn: Just a One? Come on Bobby, there's a ZERO at the end of that ONE.. That's a Perfect Ten.

Nora and Fleck stand in the center of the ring with Waldo in between them.
Bob Fairchild: Nora's giving up her own body weight and more to Jackson.
Fleck gives a double bicep pose and flexes his chest as Nora raises an eyebrow,. Waldo calls for the bell and Nora takes a step back. Fleck walks over to the ropes and pulls on them, stretching out. Nora starts to circle then charges at Fleck. Fleck sidesteps Nora, who bounds off the ropes. Nora goes for a basement drop kick, hitting Fleck on the knee. Fleck drops down to one knee. Nora gets up quickly and bounds back for the ropes. She goes for a cross body block but Fleck catches her, stands, and lifts her above his head.
Kamryn: Go Baby!
He then presses Nora above his head three times. He goes for a fourth but Nora slides out and down his back. She grabs him by the waist and tries for a sunset flip but Fleck tries to widens his stance. Nora hooks her legs under Fleck's arms and pulls as Fleck stumbles, hitting a modified Yoshitonic. Nora rolls backwards and up to her feet as Fleck sits up stunned.
Bob Fairchild: I don't think Jackson was expecting that one!
Nora hits a drop kick, sending Fleck to his back. She quickly runs towards the turnbuckle, walks up the turnbuckle and hits a Moonsault on to the lying Fleck. Waldo slides in for a cover but the crowd gasps as the lighting rig above the ring begins to fall. Fleck looks up, sees the rig and rolls over on top of Nora, protecting her. Waldo looks up and flattens out as the lighting rig falls onto the ring.
Bob Fairchild: HOLY SH!T!!
The ropes catch most of the rig, leaving a pocket of protected area where Fleck, Nora and Waldo are sitting. An item falls into the ring from above, bouncing , then landing beside of Waldo. Fleck and Nora look at each other then Fleck rolls out of the ring as the crowd is stunned silent.
Kamryn: Flexy Baby!.. Come to Momma. It'll be...
Fleck walks past Kamryn and heads towards the back. Nora is looking around as Waldo picks up the item and looks over at Bob and Steffi.
Bob Fairchild: The Good Book. Oh Crap.
Kamryn takes off her headset and walks quickly towards the back, trying to catch up with Fleck.
Bob Fairchild: I'm not sure what's going on but Rusty, Fleck is heading your way.
~~ BACKSTAGE ~~
Backstage, Jackson Fleck walks into the locker room area, grabs his bag and heads straight to the parking garage. Kamryn chases after him and Rusty Fairchild stands at the door.
Jackson Fleck: Outta my way!
Rusty steps aside as Fleck walks out of the arena and towards his car.
Kamryn: Baby! Flexy! Where are you going!
Fleck unlocks his car and looks back at Kamryn as Jana and Rusty walk up behind her.
Jackson Fleck: I nearly got crushed by faulty rigging. That could have killed me!..The hell with that, I'm too pretty to be crushed. I'm out!!!
Fleck climbs in the car, starts it and speeds away.
Kamryn: BABY!!!
Kamryn turns and slaps Rusty.
Kamryn: This is all your fault!!!
Kamryn stomps off as Rusty holds his cheek and looks at Jana, who simply shakes her head.
Bob Fairchild and Stephi Zucconi stand at ringside as Jimmy Floyd and the DWF Crew assess the situation. Waldo walks up and hands the Good Book to Stephi.
Wonderman Waldo: I dunno what to say. Nora's the winner via Count out so I guess she'll move on.
Stephi Zucconi: This is just ... messed up.
Bob Fairchild: I wish we could have a better ending than this but two more have entered the Jack Rikar Cup. We'll be in Johnson City in 2 weeks, It's a special edition Friday Night Fight at Freedom Hall for TNT. So for Stephi, the dejected Kamryn and everyone else, I'm Bob Fairchild. Good Night from the DWF.
