I've said it before and I'll say it again. In this business there are matches that you're going to love and there are matches that you're going to hate. The last time I graced a DWF ring it was in a match that I took no enjoyment in. However, I did what I had to do and got the job done. This time? Oh….. this time! I love this match so much that as soon as I saw the card, my face lit up like a little kid on Christmas. You see not only has Defiant Wrestling given me the opportunity to add my first title to my collection. They're also letting me do it against somebody that I can't stand, Cyrus Riddle. Why? It's simple really, Cyrus Riddle is all about everything that I'm not. I said on day one that you never had to worry about me putting on an act for you guys, that what you were going to get was pure unadulterated me. Cyrus Riddle is the direct opposite of that. Honestly, if you're over the age of 21 and you enjoy that corny shit that he does then you need to take a good long look in the mirror and ask yourself what you're doing with your life. Get your shit together, get it all together and put it in a back pack. All your shit, so it's together. And if you gotta take it somewhere, take it somewhere. You know, take it to the shit store and sell it or put it in the shit museum. I don't care what you do, you just gotta get it together.
Get your shit together. Golden opportunities to use Rick and Morty quotes aside, this motherfucker is the Limp Bizkit of the wrestling industry. He's such a god damn lost soul that he probably will take that as a complement. The rest of the world will realize how big of an insult that is though. What's even worse is that I don't even mean when Limp Bizkit was somehow popular. Nah, he's like the Limp Bizkit in 2012 who everybody laughed at. Well if you were even paying attention to their corny asses that is. For some ungodly reason they signed with Cash Money Records of all people then tried to resurrect that Nu Metal bullshit and make it popular again. You know, just like Cyrus Riddle is trying to reach back to the days when people actually thought that the scary, dark, emo, and try hard bullshit that he does was cool. I can talk about it until I'm blue in the face but the best way to show exactly what I mean is to quote the source.
“Ah, music to my ears, mate. Screams… agony… pain… bloodletting”.
Yeah… It's pretty much ALL like that. Keep in mind now, that wasn't from some B horror movie with the script written by a guy who valet parks cars down at the hospital. He actually said that, these were words that actually came out of his mouth. Ladies and gentlemen I give you Cyrus “Limp Bizkit” Riddle. Cyrus let me make a few things clear to you because you seem to stray off into fantasy land instead of actually facing reality. First of all, I’m not afraid of you and I will never be afraid of you. Period, the end. To me you're actually more of a comedy act than you are the one man horror show you so desperately want to be. However, that's just it. You see, nothing you do comes off as the slightest bit genuine. It all feels like a desperate and forced attempt by a manchild to tell the wrestling world “he look at me guys”. For example, you compared a wrestling match to the clashes of the Greek Gods.
Um…. Over dramatic much? But that's how everything with you has to be. Your skills have relegated you to such a small insignificant part of the wrestling industry that everything you do has to be a melodramatic production. That's what you have to do in order for you to grab attention because you can't do it with your skills alone. Again, you're the direct opposite of me. My skills have catapulted me into main events and I've had less than ten matches in my career. Meanwhile you're doing anything within your power to stay relevant over in 4CW and here in Defiant you can't even be bothered to show up.
Oh yeah Cy, about that whole not showing up thing. I'm currently competing in four separate federations, my mother is all over my case about it. What can I say? I like competing and I think I may have a slight tournament addiction. However, all that is beside the point. I'm signed to four federations and do you know how many events I've missed? ZERO! Yet you as a CHAMPION can't be bothered to show up for a Defiant event? How big of a piece of shit can you be? Oh but wait you've probably got some sort of excuse right? Lay it on me Cy, let me hear why you couldn't bother showing your face in Defiant when the night before you appeared in 4CW.
Whoops, didn't think anybody would notice that did ya? Sorry but I do my research, character assassination is my business and business is good motherfucker. So please Cy, enlighten me, what other excuse is there for you missing TNT other than the fact that you're a lazy unprofessional piece of shit? You were in Detroit the night before TNT for the 4CW show. The next day TNT was in Pittsburgh, a nonstop flight from Detroit to Pittsburgh takes roughly ONE HOUR. Just for fun I went on Travelocity and tried to book a flight from Detroit to Pittsburgh for tomorrow. Five different flight options came up that would have allowed you to make it there in one hour. Not to mention the flights that weren't nonstop that would have taken 3 hours but still got you there in time for the show. So even if you “missed” your flight I'm sure you could have gotten there if you really wanted to.
The thing is you didn't really want to be there. That seems to be a trend here in Defiant. You've got your select few who actually want to compete here and then you seem to have quite a few who just want to go through the motions for a paycheck. I'm not built that way, what if some fan tunes into TNT and watches me for the first time? What if they see me out there just going through the motions stinking up the joint? To that fan I'm going to be complete trash and they would be absolutely right to classify me that way because that's how I classify every person in this federation who does that shit.
I don't care if it's Elysium, ASCENT, MCW, or right here in Defiant Wrestling. No matter where I am, the K-Remix you get is going to be exactly the same. I don't give a shit if I have a match in Elysium and then a match in Defiant two days later. The level of performance you're going to get from me is going to be exactly the same because I owe that to myself, my family, and anybody watching. Cyrus there's no doubt as to why you've been booked against me this week, you're looking at your replacement. Or if you want to get all over dramatic and emo like usual, feel free to call me your executioner. Regardless, Jana Rikar doesn't want somebody like you representing Defiant as a champion. More so than that, the Defiant fans DESERVE better than you.
Full force or just going through the motions, the result is going to be the same. I'm walking out of Toledo with the Titan Championship around my waist. I'm going to climb into that ring, I'm going to wrestle circles around you, and then I'm going to send you back to 4CW where they might actually want your mediocre ass. They might only want you there as a punching bag but hey, beggars can't be choosers right bruh? I mean with that brutal 7-8-1 record you've got over there combined with the one win, one loss, and one no show record you've got in Defiant, federations must be beating down the door to get that kind of talent. Hash-tag sarcasm.
Cyrus I'm done with you so let me speak to the rest of Defiant Wrestling, the people who might actually still be on the roster after next week. Where the fuck is your pride as competitors? Honest question. When I look around I sure as hell don't see a whole lot of it. Half of the roster is doesn't give a shit while the other half of the roster isn't good enough to carry this place to any shred of prosperity. It would not surprise me at all if I show up to ready to compete at TNT one night but get to the arena and find out that this place is done. It would probably be easier and better for me in the long run to just leave and focus my attention elsewhere.
Luckily for Defiant, I don't take the easy way out and shutting down the show is the ONLY way you're going to stop me from competing. Hell, if I show up to the arena and it's closed but there are people siting outside, I might just put on a damn match in the parking lot. I LIVE FOR THIS SHIT! With that being said, I'm calling my shot right now. Not only am I going to become the Titan Champion but I'm going to obliterate anybody who gets in my way during the Defiant Tournament. Then I'm going to be the one who finally brings Aidan Carlisle's reign of terror to an end. After that, maybe this place won't struggle to put a card together. She is the face of the company right? And with the company in the shape that it's in right now, what does that tell you about Aidan Carlisle? She's not keeping you guys afloat, she's the reason you're slowly sinking. Hash-tag shots fired.
