INT. TRIXIE'S BEDROOM - VEGAS - MID-DAY - JUNE
CAMERA: • OFF
In the bedroom, Trixie and her old school friend Brad are chilling out together. Trixie oddly slouching it in the fashion department with an oversized grey t-shirt that clearly didn't belong to her, hair tied quick into a ponytail and navy blue sweatpants with her feet bare and on the bed. Brad with a red beanie on, hooded grey sweatshirt and pants to match as they were chillaxing.
Brad:
"This Twitter lark seems like a right ball-ache. Why are so many wrestlers active on it all the time? PR is one thing, I think a lot of these wrestlers might have a little IT addiction."
Brad says not noticing the irony of himself on an iPad and his own phone browsing the internet, twitter. Trixie sits on her chair in the bedroom, like the pair were a couple of high school kids hanging out after school.
TRIXIE:
"Some do, some don't."
Trixie herself on her phone, planning her upcoming schedule with Redemption matches on Sunday, watching WCGenesis show on Saturday, Scars & Stripes on Monday, Filming Shoot Society on Tuesday, Norway the next Sunday and of course the jet to KY for TNT.
Brad:
"Heidi doesn't. She's not been active since her loss on that Defiant show, that's oddly spooky, innit?"
The question raises Trixie's eyebrow.
TRIXIE:
"What do you mean?"
Brad scrolls down on his phone with his eyes hard wired to the screen as he speaks.
Brad:
"Heidi's all silent, probably hitting the gym. Banging out the iron and ending up looking like She-Hulk with a funny hair colour. Better watch out Trixie."
He ends by looking at Trixie, whom nudges him with her foot. Poking him in his shoulder with her big toe.
TRIXIE:
"Are you forgetting I won in Little Rock, I'm already slated in the PPV. I was supposed to face Heidi and Aidan…but…someone paid money to get out of a match with me and Adalynn. Bad Kitty made Aidan a scared Kitty."
Brad's eyes now return to the phone.
Brad:
"So who's this Heidi girl anyway?"
Trixie gets a confident smirk and a glimmer in her eye, ready to boast.
TRIXIE:
"Well all I know is she's probably one of the youngest in Defiant, inexperience to me with over fifty matches to my name now this year alone."
His eyebrows scrunch at the revelation.
Brad:
"Bloody hell Trix. That's a lot."
Trixie just modestly shrugs.
TRIXIE:
"What can I say? You might have your Pepsi addiction, I have my wrestling one."
CUT TO:
INT. TRIXIE'S TRAINING ROOM - VEGAS - EVENING-DAY - JUNE
CAMERA: • ON
Trixie had just finished another workout as she stood before the camera. Behind her the wrestling ring with the pink ropes, the black mat and Trixie's name on every single apron.
TRIXIE:
"Tag team match changed to a singles match because Aidan didn't want to face me and Adaylnn. That's the reason I'm taking on Heidi solo. The DWF Champion, unlike me, takes the night off instead of engaging in my personal favourite aspect of wrestling, tag team."
Trixie stops herself, despite their being real passion in her voice as she concluded.
TRIXIE:
"But I can't do anything to change the situation….I could buy out…but I prefer to seize every opportunity. I did that in Little Rock and now I share a PPV slating with Sarah Lacklan so far. The opportunity I see here is getting one step closer to the title picture.
Heidi got the chance to face Aidan Carlisle and didn't get the win as we know. But to give her an exhibition match is totally a fireworks moment, she's who Jana was testing to be the next contender. At the Bash, I'll get my chance to win a shot, but this match is about telling my other potential opponents that they better watch out for Trixie.
And Heidi Thompson is kind of the best person to show them. Heidi's quite quiet, since her loss to Aidan I've not actually seen much on her social media and I didn't really hear from her before her match with THE champion. I'm choosing to believe that's because Heidi is in hiding and preparing for the match with me.
Because throwing up live on TNT is something that would drive me to the brink of my physical end to put behind me. And, well, Aidan can punch her guts out, I prefer to superkick them. I'm quite the striker, and if push comes to shove, I will land a superkick to the belly and step aside to avoid the splash zone. "
Trixie's lips curl down in disgust as she shudders at the thought of experiencing that. She pauses to compose herself and puts on a pair of sunglasses on, her ruby lips straight as she takes a more series stance for a serious point.
TRIXIE:
"But since I'm in the memorial cup, I have a duty now to be on another level. Heidi gets to experience that new level, the true debut of it, live in Bowling Green. If her being silent means she's working hard out of the ring, for this match? Then I say bring it. Test me, let me work even harder to be ready for the Bash in August. Every win now is vital, every single match is going to be pivotal.
So when green meets blonde, it's not a clash of women in a cat fight, it's the ever experienced Trixie, the Superkick Sentry Gun, Bad Kitty, the Bouncing Bunny, vs. Heidi, who I'm choosing to bill as "The Silent Warrior". Expect better than my best Heidi, watch my tapes and treat those performances as the bar….
…Because in our match, I'm about to soar right over it."
Trixie says mildly flaunting her peak physique from Michigan training to end the video.
