Character
Be original, this is another big point producer for you. Be fresh, don't be a robot and say the say thing as everyone else. This doesn't mean use fancy words either. Always make sure your location is relevant to your role play. Be your character, stick to what you are wanting him to be and come across as. If you're new to the DWF or the business in general, the crowd isn't going have an opinion on you, unless you're a big name talent. You have to push your product, get over with the fans to get them to hate you or love you. Make us enjoy the Character.
POINT SCALE: 1-33
Story
This should really be self explanatory for everyone. Does your roleplay talk about what you had for breakfast or are you talking about your match and opponent(s)? You're best to stay on point with this as the less you talk about your opponent it could mean the less points you get. If you're in a story line or trying to start one then, it will fall under this area. You don't have to be in a feud to progress a story line, it could be a character development story you are doing as well. Again, keep us interested in the story line. Make us want more of what you're doing. If you just mention your opponent in a single sentence, don't expect to get full points.
POINT SCALE: 1-33
Entertainment
Your roleplay must pull us in, is it suppose to make us cry, smile or laugh? Make sure it does exactly what you're trying to do. Make your character have some pizzazz. If it's not entertaining and you're just repeating what you said a paragraph before, we're going to get bored and not gain any points. Make things interesting. Spice things up, go to different parts, expand your own creative ideas. The only limits you have are the ones you set for yourself.
POINT SCALE: 1-33
Layout, Spelling & Grammar are not gradeable. We understand some people like to color up and pic up their roleplays but it's all window dressing. We prefer the Meat and Potatoes of the 3 Gradings to the Parsley of Color, Pictures, and Spacing.
Also, Any of our Staff characters, excluding Jana, are allowed to be used in your role play. If there is a question about a character trait or quirk, ask and we'll be happy to answer your your questions.
Above All, Use a little common sense and Enjoy being part of the DWF. Feel free to ask for help, advice or feedback at any time.
