He looks towards the ring, then walks ahead, with his head down. He stops , looks at his opponent or the referee, then heads to the steps. He slowly climbs the steps then stops at the corner. van der Roost places the towel on the turnbuckle, wipes his feet on the apron and climbs through the ropes. He looks up towards the orange spotlight then puts the left glove on. The arena lights come up and he tosses the right glove into the crowd or places it below his towel.
Primary Style: Old School Mat Wrestler, Doesn't have a lot of flashy moves, throw back to the 70's-80's style of wrestling (A Style combination of Dean Malenko, Ronnie Garvin, and Lance Storm)

Jan van der Roost is a grizzled 25 year veteran, primarily of the European and Asian Wrestling circuits. He's known for his no-nonsense work ethic and his willing to fight all comers. van der Roost prides himself on his conditioning and willingness to take punishment. He gives as good as he gets and holds many records in endurance including a 2 hour match at a house show in Warsaw Poland. He pays homage to his son, dead from a bicycling accident in the Alps, by wearing a left handed orange glove, as his son's body was found with no right hand. He is currently residing in Atlantic City and is father to Sebastian.
Jan also owns and runs the Squires of Wrestling Academies (Atlantic City, Cape Town, Chicago, Gold Coast, Lubbock, Macau, Miami, Napa Valley, Nashville, San Diego, Sendai, Shreveport, Vancouver, Windsor) and is Co-Owner of Squires Rayvenloft, run by his former tag partner and trainer, Paul de Rayven, back in Amsterdam.
